I am selling my 73 Scout II. I has an original IH 304 cu in V8 with the Torqueflite 4-speed Automatic. The mufflers were replaced with Flowmaster Flowfx's. The seats were professionally redone with Marine Grade Vynal (I will add pictures of those tomorrow) for when the top is off and it gets wet. The side marker lights were replaced with led marker lights. It does have a suspention lift. I have a complete Rallye Decal kit in Black. I have all of the emblems and lower body chrome. I also have a spare set of complete doors and an extra rear hatch. I did drive this in the mountains and pulled a small camper with it after it was restored. This Scout II came out of the desert (Western New Mexico). I have many pictures of the restoration if a potential buyer is interested. I intended to fully restore this vehicle but I have a different project I want to focus on. I am not interested in trades, only selling. If the post is up, it is still available. Any questions, feel free to ask.

1974 International Scout II that Im selling. I have restored 3 and I just dont have the time, energy and heart to do this one. I like my last one so much that I kept it.

This one is a 304 automatic with a T-134 transfer case. 373 gear ratio. Everything seems to be stock and I provide the LST in the photos. It drives and handles well. Its licensed and insured in my name. I drive it to get to know it.

It has bad rust in the back area that Ive seen so far. Is it a good drivable project? Yes. Is it worth $12,000? Yes.

If you have questions I will answer honestly. I believe in Karma. Thank you for looking.

1966 International Scout 800

This is a rare right-hand-drive International Scout 800 originally built for the U.S. Postal Service and used as a Chicago mail truck. I purchased it in 2011 from a Southern Illinois farmer who had bought it at a city auction and used it only around his ranch, storing it in a barn. For a vintage postal Scout, it has remarkably little rust—the body is original and virtually rust- and dent-free, although you can certainly find some underneath if you go looking. It retains its original 152ci Comanche “slant 4” engine (essentially half of International’s V8), 3-speed transmission, D27 front and rear axles, and working high/low 4WD. The odometer shows 30,xxx miles, and every mechanic who has looked at it believes it has never rolled over. It starts every time, runs and drives great, and gets smiles everywhere it goes.

Over the years I’ve done quite a bit to keep it reliable and usable, including a rebuilt 2-barrel Motorcraft 5200 carb, Pertronix ignition, re-cored radiator, water pump, hoses, fuel pump, U-joints, leaf springs, body bushings, clutch master/slave cylinders, exhaust, rebuilt front steering knuckles, electric vintage-style wipers and squirter, plus rewired and functional turn signals, brake lights, backup lights and interior courtesy light. The heater works, all the glass is intact, and the engine doesn’t leak or use oil between annual changes. The interior has been bed-lined, and I also have a whitewall spare and vintage rear tire mount that I never installed because I like seeing the tailgate logo. It’s not perfect: the seats need upholstery, it’s due for brake shoes, the differentials drip a little despite new gaskets, and—as any Scout 800 owner will appreciate—the gas gauge doesn’t work. Fill it every 50 miles and forget about it. International reportedly built only a small number of these right-hand-drive postal Scouts, making surviving examples a pretty unusual find. $16,000. I'm just north of Milwaukee. Happy to test drive any time. Like... ANY time.

1967 international Scout

This 1975 Scout was my brother's dream project. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly. Now, I just want to see it go to someone who will build the 4X4 he always dreamed of, while helping my mom with the costs of taking care of his affairs. The Scout was running when he started working on it, and it has the 304 engine and all the parts [as far as I know]. It has surface rust, but good bones and a straight body. It needs to be towed, but has great potential. If you are looking for your next great project, call me and come get it.

The Bones to Build Your Dream Scout!

Ready for restoration. All original with 196(ic) 4 cylinder and 3 speed manual. Bucket seats. Typical scout rust. Good frame. Engine spins freely by hand. All original parts are with this vehicle.

Before the bronco came the International Scout.
In the last twenty years, this piece of American history has gone from graveyard, to beach cruiser, to trails and ultimately off road. The scout has taken us to places most vehicles can't go, and made priceless memories. The Scout runs better than most family cars. It is now your turn to own a piece of American History.

Restoring a 1979 Scout II and have leftover parts. Hoping someone can use them. We will probably have additional parts as the restoration moves forward. Make offer.

1979 Scout - Leftover Parts

Since 37 years in the family is this Scout 800 that has been converted to a BMW six cylinder turbodiesel with automatic ZF transmission. Originally from San Bernardino California it has never suffered bad weather conditions or being used in the winter. Exceptional original body condition. Before converting it to the reliable and economical BMW turbodiesel I had for 20 years a 530 hp 406 Chevy in it and participated in a lot of 1/8 mile races. The last eight years I've been using it with an intercooled BMW with just 35,000 miles on it. It works perfectly with the ZF4 HP 22 transmission, has 150 hp on the dyno and being almost 200 kg lighter than the international drivetrain, it convinces with a pleasant driving experience. Send me an email and I can provide more pictures and a video of the Scout

I have 4 scouts and want to sell all 4 together. One has a plow.

4 Old scouts for sale

This 1970 International Harvester Scout 800 is finished in two-tone silver and blue over a blue vinyl interior and is equipped with a removable roof, a roof rack, a roll cage, fog lamps, and a digital media receiver. Power is provided by a rebuilt I6 engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.

The truck underwent a repaint in Aristocrat-style silver with blue accents under previous ownership. The removable traveltop features sliding side windows and a stainless-steel roof rack and is underpinned by a full roll cage. Other equipment includes “Aristocrat” fender badges, Hella fog lamps, dual mirrors, a rear step bumper, and a ball hitch.

The truck rides on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires wrapped around 15" rally-style chrome wheels.

The engine underwent a rebuild back in 2016 along with multiple other items getting replaced.

It was purchased off Bring A Trailer back in 2021 (https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-international-harvester-scout-800-aristocrat/) and simply doesn't get used as much as it should, so it's time for the next owner. The web page is still there, so if you reach out, I'm happy to forward it along. I also have numerous recent photos I can provide you with.
